D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. After gaining fame through his role as a character in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, Lost Law & Order, and several others. Qualls, who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly resilient fighter. His cancer was in remission within two years. The treatment was so early that it had a severe effect on the body, and stunted his growth. Once he started acting financially secure, it was his ultimate goal as he had seen poverty throughout his early years. He said, "I've been living so frugal for so many years that I'm in need of financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control and that's not good for me." He looks back on his early years, and is driven by an urge to do something against the bullying. It breaks my heart when I hear what DJ claims. DJ's dream role would be to play a father figure in reel as well as in real life. The director doesn't choose him to fill these roles, but he does say. He'd like to have a child in order to be able to dedicate more time and more time to his baby.
